Hanna is an M.Sc. Clinical Mental Health Counseling student currently completing her practicum at Scheer Therapy and Wellness. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brock University, with a minor in Applied Linguistics, currently working towards her Masters Degree
From a young age, Hanna has been described as empathetic, compassionate, and a strong listener, qualities that inspired her to pursue a career in psychotherapy and supporting others through life’s challenges. She brings experience from a range of community-based and research settings, including work with the Learning Disabilities Association of the Niagara Region, the John Howard Society, and as a research assistant in the Social-Cognitive Development Lab at Brock University.
Hanna takes an integrative, trauma-informed approach to counseling, drawing on evidence-based modalities such as person-centered therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, and strengths-based practices. She is passionate about creating a supportive, collaborative space where clients feel understood, empowered, and supported in navigating challenges and creating meaningful, lasting change.
